Interestingly, I've had a few kebabs in Germany on my visits there and they're completely different. As in they contain readily recognisable meat.

I think that amounts to an article in The Guardian that criticises the EU, while trying hard not to.  ;D

Mind you, if banning kebabs focuses peoples attention, then wait until they try to ban mayonnaise on fries... it will be the second coming and an hour of Chris Evans and Jeremy Corbyn having a karaoke love-in all rolled into one ...

Tusk and Juncker won't last five minutes 8)

Joking aside, given that Germany has almost as many Turks living there as the rest of Europe combined, enforcing a ban on kebabs would be a challenge  :-\
