This young chap who’s in court charged with plotting to blow up Theresa May.......couldn’t we have arrested him after he’d done it?
-
Corbyn will want his money back. ::) He does like a good bombing.
-
Is he a descendant of Guy Fawkes?
Ron.
-
Not that I know of, although the bloke who wrote the recent, ludicrously inaccurate BBC drama about Guy Fawkes is both a former IRA terrorist and a parliamentary researcher for Corbyn.
-
I started to watch that series with great expectations, Albs, only to be let down massively: calling it total crap is the kindesr thing I can say about it.
Ron.

Not sure if you liked it or not? ;D

Very perceptive of you to detect my ambivalence so readily, Varche.
Ron.

It was indeed completely anti British and utter shite Ron. The perfect BBC programme actually. :y

Me too and maybe we could learn a thing or two from our forebears. ;)
-
Except that they probably didn't disembowel anyone in the circumstances portrayed in the programme. ;)
I thought it was one of the most awful things I have ever wasted my time watching, but swmbo likes that fella from G.O.T. so it stayed on until the end. ::) ;D

They did. Anyone who was not royalty and found guilty of treason were hung (briefly), cut down still alive, were drawn (their intestines pulled out from their stomachs and shown to them) and finally quartered (their arms and legs cut off) before the head was removed to be placed on a spike in a public place, like the London Bridge of those times.
Now could we do that today to returning ISIS fighters? I bet TB could! ;D ;D ;)
-
Not only TB, Lizzie - I have this list..... :y

Well it would be a lot cheaper than shooting them with £100,000 missiles! :y
