General Car Chat / 3.2 V6 and gold dust

Hi All

Its been some time since I have been on, hope all is good

I still keep popping in time to time even with me no longer having my beloved 3.2 Elite..i miss the old girl

They seem to be super rare to find now day, not may around in the  usual places

Has the value gone up with them coming hard to find?

I have moved over to and Audi a8 d3 4.2 but I do miss the Elite and also the forum chit chat from here.   

if you thought that the 3.2 was
hungry on fuel you should try the 4.2  . and that's with me driving as if I was driving Miss Daisy

Car Parts, bits For Sale & Wanted / Few parts for sale 2001 Elite

Hi all

Hope everyone is good , i have a few parts that are no longer nedded as i no longer have the Elite.
1 Drivers side wing mirror Glass fully working with no marks at all. £15
2 Working Crank sesnor for an 2001 Elite ( not sure on the type of conector but can have a look if anyone needs me to). £20
  If anyone needs anymore infor just let me know....

Have got upto where the conecter is off and the bulbs is sitting in the house of the light . How do i remove this housing to take out the bulb i was not sure if it was just a twist off one way.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Sunroof light

Just trying to get my sunroof light to work , took off the cap and there is a plastic cover under it but can not see a light of any type . Has anyone changed one.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Parrot CK3000

Hi All

Looking to get a hands free car kit, I have seen the Parrot range and working on a cost of about £100 have any of you used this one and what do you think of it.

Also what should i be paying for the system and fitting.

Would it be a better idear to use the pre wired system as not sure of the cost of this.

by the way the one that i am thinking of is the CK30000 parrot base line one but look,s like it will do the job at the right price.

Looking at a few small jobs that i need to do one of which is to replace the buld in the sunroof control. How easy is this to do and has any one done this before. Would be nice to have it working again.

Told that i may need a new laser for my sat nav it on a facelift elite 3.2 i think that it is the 2013 mode with the CID display, Would anyone know what the cost would be for one. If to much will look at just getting a tom tom or one like it.

Also does the same laser  read the cd disk as will as the sat nav disk.

I have a ND2013 system that over the past week will not load the disk just keeps on spiting out. I have used a cd cleaner but no good .

Has and one had this happen to them. I plays cd in the nav disk slot just fine.

On the way into work  stared of ok put the stereo on and all was fine.Stoped of at the shops up the road and when i re stared the car the stereo would not work. Would any one know of the best place to start looking and whcich fuse looks after that.

I have to undated disk dose anyone know it they is a way to get it to read by post code.I can,t see a way. It,s in a facelift elite 3.2 i think the system is  the ND 2013 and the disk is a Navtec 2009-08 disk i think.

I know that VX do a disk and pad set but would any one have anyother place to get them or are the vx ones the best to get ...have a tc card so not a prob.
