General Discussion Area / No driving for a while.
« on: 10 October 2017, 17:44:47 »
Not been on here much over the last couple of weeks had   trouble with my eyes , anyway saw my GP last Friday who was quite concerned & has arranged a brain scan (just hope they find one)😀 Also recommended an eye test which I had today.Good news nothing wrong at the front bad news is that the double vision I am experiencing is either brain related or a problem behind the eye, advice is not to drive & more specialist referrals, so guys never take anything for granted , if there are any spelling mistakes I apologize because I am having to wear an eye patch.

Also got a brilliant mechanic/technician who lives & breathes V8 engines , think I could have a new best mate in the making.

General Car Chat / Can't believe my luck, what a buy !
« on: 30 March 2017, 13:56:06 »
The neighbours Merc is being delivered tomorrow, so she asked if I would like to take the Subaru Forester out for a spin before I hand any cash over, well I have known the car from new so I expected it to drive well it didn't disappoint.
It is absolutely mint 27,413 miles serviced & MOT last week including autobox fluid change, know it's been done properly because her  son was the sales executive at the dealership before moving onto their MB branch.Like a kid in a sweetshop, looking through all paperwork nothing missing includes original bill of sale, it's going to be a good weekend SWMBO will love this .😎

General Car Chat / Hoorah the Panda is going.😁
« on: 27 March 2017, 21:13:56 »
A few months ago I was going to buy my neighbours Subaru Forester, she has had it from new 05 plate full history 27,000 miles only, then she changed her mind . Anyhow her son who now works for Mercedes has found a really nice B class so I get the Forester next week for SWMBO & the Panda will go on the bay of e. Had a Forester a few years back great car this is the 2.0x All weather so good spec MOT'd & serviced last week.
