Manchester United have now got their latest player, reportedly they're paying him 14m a year after taxes :o That's got to be totally insane,no-one and I mean no-one is worth paying that much! The player says it's not about the money but that he's always wanted to play for them,so why didn't they offer him 300 a week and call it done? ::)

Whilst I agree we should have strong armed forces-whether by increasing the number of personnel or equipping the current force with the best equipment available or a combination of the two-there never has been anyway the UK could go toe to toe with the Russians hence the need for NATO and our membership of it.

I think TB ought to be leader, then he could revamp the party and fight the next election on his cull and transport policies which I'm sure would find much favour with the electorate :D Vote TB :y ;D

It may help if you define an area[say a county] and then pick places[from suggestions]of interest to meet up in various locations in that area then the meeting place would move so it wasn't always the same people travelling many miles while others were always just around the corner.Places of interest could also then carry the swmbo vote and thus more people attending?Settle on a frequency for such meetings[once a month/bi-monthly/whatever]dates could either "fixed" or be randomly selected, and make sure others from outside the "Northwest" are welcome to attend if they so wish and give that a try,it would just need someone to step up to the plate as organiser.

I suppose the good thing about the pics being as small as they are the only "battlescar" easily visible is the o/s mirror back[3rd mirror in a 2yr period as they were getting knocked off by people driving down our street and not willing to wait for a gap big enough to get past without hitting it-mine wasn't the only car to suffer this >:(] The bumper scars-on it when I bought it don't show up so easily on these pics :y Don't know if the pics can be re-sized without going back to the hosting site[the on annihilator did the guide on]and going through the re-posting route.

The M.o.T. testers at the local Ford dealers already use the OBD port to plug something or other in although of course if the car in question doesn't have such a port it's not detrimental to it being tested.

Not much of a crumpet catcher Opti, but being the estate once there they could be persuaded to linger a while :D :D :D ::) It could be encouraged to be fairly quick off the line, then people couldn't easily catch me as they were driving in a "fog" of blue smoke ;D ;D
