On the face of it it does seem odd that the latest Vx adverts are pushing the "Britishness" of the brand while at the same time closing so many dealerships.They could however be moving towards multi-franchise dealerships where the Vx brand shares space with Peugeot or Citroen or both,this would cut down overheads by not having separate sites for the brand.

Was in a Mustang[5L]yesterday and between speedo and rev counter it was displaying a vacuum gauge.Presumably this is a selectable display?Such a long time since I've seen the likes of this.I remember way back when that no self respecting boy racer would have been without such a gauge bought from local car accessory shop and mounted somewhere on the dash or screen "A" pillar.

Is it only on cyl 3 that there is no spark?If you're getting a spark at the other plugs try swapping a plug lead from one of the others and see if the problem moves.

Mine's getting to be a positive low miler.At 18yrs old it's covered approx. 135,000mls of which I've done about 5,000 of them in the 7yrs I've owned it.Mind you it has been off the road for 2 of those 7yrs!

Up until a few months ago our road was more pothole than road surface,they finally got round to re-surfacing it[albeit leaving plenty of grit/chippings around]potholes are now reappearing in the same places they were before
