Does Sammy Miller still hold the all time quarter mile record?

Three point something seconds with a terminal speed close to 400 MPH if memory serves.

Some say a full throttle run used to make his ears bleed.

Insurance should be cheap, it's only a 1.3 after all............ :D :D

Yes...This makes it the ideal car for the 'just passed my test' seventeen year old. ;D

Have a look at the Cubot P9 Android Opti :)
Yes it is made in China!, it is a dead ringer (no pun intended) for the Samsung Galaxy range.
It is a VERY well built phone with a 5inch screen & performs very well indeed apart from the main camera which although it boasts 8mp could be much better, although it is not too bad.
Check it out on Amazon at around £62.99!!!!
Look for a UK seller though for quick delivery  :y

Thanks, Phil. I will check it out. :)

How much would a genuine Samsung Galaxy set me back?

I like it but couldn't justify £21000 on something that weighs the same as a loaf of bread.

I wonder if it manages a 5 star NCAP safety rating?.... ;D

Ooooh that's a lot of stress on a busa lump. But mental power to weight ;D

Yes. It should make for a 'nippy little car'..... :)

What I find remarkable is not that the engine and transmission can haul its' @rse up the strip that quick, but that they managed to stop the BL bits of the car falling apart in the process. :o

 ;D

And i was thinking of buying a TR7  ;D

TR5.....TR6.... :y :y :y :y Proper British sports cars.

TR7........only hairdressers and poofter's need apply. :'(

Some years ago my youngest daughter gave birth to the eldest of my grandchildren, she and the boys father split up shortly after his birth.Fast forward 20yrs and the child is now grown and has produced my great grandson. All very straightforward so far. However today I've learned that next year my younger brother is going to marry the mother of the ex-boyfriend,so at a stroke not only will my brother be my grandsons uncle he'll also be his step grandfather and step great grandfather of my great grandson!!!Talk about confused? You will be!!

This is fine, it's when brothers and sisters marry that you need to worry*

* Norfolk and Lincolnshire excepted. ;D

Fixed that slip for you

In Lincolnshire it is against the law NOT to marry your sister. ;D

As a result many children here have two heads.......or six fingers on each hand. :)
