Actually, Esso seems to be the better deal. They seem to always be a bit cheaper, plus swmbo likes them as she gets clubcard points.ASDA £1.24.7 for unleaded here. Supermarket fuel, of course. Only suitable for ordinary cars, not omegas.
That Esso station on the A31 at Wimborne, next to the Little Chef, is always about 5p cheaper than anywhere else.

I used to feel the same about winter tyres and even when I had them on the rear axle didn't understand what all the fuss was about.
It's only now that I've gone back to ordinary tyres that I've understood how grippy they are.
