What you can't see in the picture is that he's wearing his high heels and fish nets!!  ;D

The landed gentry have been perverts since the dawn of time, Sir Tig. ;D ;D

What was the name of that Tory MP? The one found dead in high heels and fishnets, and with a piece of orange in his mouth.

I'm actually thinking of getting another bike. :y

I'm getting too old and arthritic for a 'race rep' these days, but the chopper's that Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper rode in 'Easyrider' would be just fine.

I'm just wondering where I would put all the tins of 'value beans' when I make my regular trip to the foodbank?

General Car Chat / Re: Something cheerful - My MV6 !
« on: 20 August 2014, 10:17:59 »

Sometimes reading this forum can be really depressing with all the things than can go wrong with Omegas and numerous tales of woe. Crank sensors, wishbones, coil packs, whatever, and a zillion other things that I don't understand.

What I do understand, is that during 2014 I've moved from London to West Wales but still need to be in London a lot for work. This has involved lots of thumping up and down the M4 (235 miles each way) once a week or more transporting stuff but sometimes just me, and attempting to consume the entire oil reserves of Saudi Arabia in the process ! My point is that the MV6 has just taken it all in its stride and truly earned its keep  :y

 . . . . . am I tempting fate here  ???

Not really, Mr Rog. The Omega is just as reliable as your average Mercedes, BMW and Audi........if not as good as most 'Nip' produced cars.

ABS is for the Senator/Monza/Carlton massive innit blud. They don't like us "modern" types, they tolerate us to get more membership money  ;)

Besides after all the years OOF has been loyally promoting Vx ownership it should be able to stand on it's own two feet  :)

North Herts myself, but I'm guessing everyone could use the benefits?

Flutter your eyelashes Lizzie and another 25% is yours for the taking. :-* :-* :-*

P.S......This approach will only work om men and lesbians. ;D :-* :-* :-*

No chance of OOF getting trade status, as suggest best method is joining ABS. That will get you trade prices  :y

Indeed, the best £25 per year you can ever spend if you do even just a few jobs on your Omega!! :y :y :y

I have found that the ABS card also opens the door to full Vx trade prices, plus a Halfords trade card.  It has saved me £100's of pounds 8) 8) 8) 8) :y :y :y

The only problem is, as I have stated on another thread, all genuine Vx Omega parts have greatly escalated in price due to the last production car coming off the line over 11 years ago.  Still ok though on consumables rather than pure parts. ;)

The far superior V6 allows you to carry out the pedal trick though :y

Indeed it does. :y
