Mine was underneath near the back end. From memory it was held onto the fuel lines by a fiendish clip at each end.

Yes, on the near side just back from the rear wheel arch.  It is best to acquire the special tool to remove the filter clips.

Opti you should be ashamed!!!  Poor miggy, no fresh filter for six years!!! ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

Thanks, Lizzie. Perhaps we could lie under the car together and fix it. :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

That's great, but there would be no room for both of us! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

.... we could always snuggle up nice and close, Lizzie..... ::) ::) :D :-* :-* :-*

A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO recently sold at Bonhams for a record $34.65 million (£20.77 million) and is the most expensive car ever!  :o  :)

I wonder if Mrs Opti has been chucking laptops around again!  :-\  ;D

If only you knew how piss poor I really am. :'( :'(

After watching James May on Sunday I'm thinking of investing in a Lada Riva or  Polski Fiat. :y

Of course, I'll need a loan for either of these 'Iron Curtain' specials.. :'( :'( :'(

I shall have a chat with those benevolent people at Wonga. :)

It's due every 4 years or 40k (despite what your Vx dealer told you) and you should be able to get it done for under £300 by one of the forum indies, including parts.

On the interval I believe received wisdom is that the original interval was 4/40, Vx increased it to 8/80 and then dropped it back to 4/40 after having to pay out a bunch of warranty claims.. not all dealers seem to have got the memo.

I paid £330 at my Vauxhall dealer. This included a new GM water pump. :y

They later said 'they had done their sums wrong'........ ;D ;D ;D

I have still to discover the location of the fuel filter on my 2003 MV6.

Gentlemen......I hang my head in shame. :-[ :-[

Looking at the records I have, I don't believe that it has ever been replaced.

Is it underneath the car like the family Corsa?

Easy DIY fix?

Inexpensive DIY fix?

Don't know about Coke but I had some green shit in a bottle the last time I used the motorway services.

By the way, Sir Tigger......it's a little know fact that coke is good for your teeth. :)

Doesn't surprise me, look at his song titles over the years:

High Class Baby (1958),
Schoolboy Crush (1958),
High School Confidential (1958),
Somebody Touched Me (1958),
My Babe (1958),
Babe I Don't Care (1959),
Ready Teddy (1959),
Living Doll (1959),
A Teenage Love (1959),
The Snake and the Bookworm (1959),
Little things mean a lot (1959),
Willie and the Hand Jive (1960),
Working after School (1960),
Willie did the Cha Cha (1960),
hey Girl Hey Boy (1961),
Pig Tails in Paris (1961)...

there's loads more but I've already decided he's guilty

He wasn't a songwriter, he only sang what songs he was given. So that blows that theory out of the water :y
Cliff, a kiddie fiddler, it doesn't bear thinking about, let alone plausible.

Didn't Cliff have a fling with Sue Barker?

Took the Mirror cover to the Plod Shop, not interested, more interested in me and producing all my documents to make sure everything is legal with me and the car, despite a quick Vehicle Index Check would have shown all was in order.

Typical. I've had the same from them. Go there to report a hit and run and they'll have a go at pinning something on the guy standing before them, who's already got enough to worry about, before getting off their @rse and finding the real criminal. >:(

Really sorry to hear this, and I hope you find the ******. :'(

If only George Dixon was still pounding the beat, he would have 'collared' the culprit by now  ;)

Well known in showbiz circles why Cliff has never got married. :-X

I always had Cliff down as a 'neuter'.....much like Ted Heath.

Do a Google on Ted Heath and Rent Boys and then tell me he was never caught a 'neuter'. >:( >:( >:(

I have previously stated in the 1970's a certain Jimmy Savile pedo ring started right at the top.

I was unaware that Ted Heath 'may' have been involved in such things.

I think I'm on safe ground with Patrick Moore though. He lived with his mother and by all accounts didn't know one end of a woman from the other..... ;D ;D

Yes but he knew all about black holes. ;) ;D ;D

Was that the time The sky at Night went to Jamaica?.......  ::) ::) ::) ::) ;)

Unlikely I should think.

Old Cliff hasn't had a shag since about 1965.

Who next I wonder, John Noakes?

I for one don't believe a word of the allegations made against him, it just doesn't seem credible.
I also hope this is resolved as quickly as possible.

What has happened, Mr Cleggy?
