Try to see redundancy as an opportunity, Mr Omegod. :y

Start your own business perhaps.

I wish the numbers were that large, I need a change anyway so im not in the least bit glum

Work from home and the costs come down significantly. :y

An online business selling car parts perhaps. :y
Job jobbed :y

Online business suggestions welcome ;) :y

Porn could make you a lot of money.

Webcam?.....Skype?.... ::) ::) ;)

I'm sure that Salmond will claim that by winning lots of medals England are bullying Scotland which might end up in the same result!  ::)

The Scots have never liked us.

Most of them wouldn't piss on us if we were on fire. ;)

I'm hoping that Scotland wins more medals than England.

This would embolden the scottish people to vote  'YES' to independence.

This would save the English taxpayer billions of pounds each year. ::) ::) ::) :)

Lifted from the Wiki page for 'Land of Hope and Glory'  :y

Usage
Proposed anthem for England
Main article: National anthem of England
England currently has no agreed national anthem, with "God Save the Queen", the national anthem of the United Kingdom, often being used in sporting events in which England competes separately from the other Home Nations. However, there are calls for this to be changed,[5][6] and a 2006 survey conducted by the BBC suggested that 55% of the English public would rather have "Land of Hope and Glory" than "God Save the Queen" as their national anthem.[7]

Commonwealth Games
Prior to 2010, "Land of Hope and Glory" was used as the victory anthem of England team at the Commonwealth Games.[8]

On St George's Day, 23 April 2010, the Commonwealth Games Council for England launched a poll to allow the public to decide which anthem would be played at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India. Voters chose between "God Save The Queen", "Jerusalem" and "Land of Hope and Glory" with the winning song, "Jerusalem", being adopted as the official anthem for Team England.[9]

The version by the Sex Pistols was best. :y

£70,000 puts a lot of desirable metal at your disposal. :y

I know I'd regret it but I could be seduced by a Maserati Quattroporte if I were to find myself in your position. :y

65Ah sounds about right, price is high though.

The GM batteries used to be Bosch (from memory) but are now Varta (I think, or Exide).

£55.68 + VAT is the trade club price
So £67 inc... an extra £5 for not having TC but still a good improvement on £94 :y

It's always worth asking  if a discount is available, especially when I don't have the luxury of TC/Trade Card. :y

They can only say no. :y

The GM one I currently have is rated at 66 AH.

I don't think that £72 including the VAT is too bad a price really......and if I have problems I know where to go. :y

I'm torn between this and Sir Tigger's recent purchase. :)
