It could be an insurance problem IMHO. Make sure there'd be no issues with having removed the airbag.

Whole airbag system will be disabled and the light will come on if the bag is removed, although it might be possible to fool it. :-/

Yes, my daughter keeps nagging me to go, I have no inclination to go to the US despite the ‘bright lights’ May try and pacifier her and got to Paris, but to be honest France does not appeal either. :-/

I used to feel the same, but actually I quite admire the French now. They have the guts to stand up for themselves and say "b0110cks to that" when things have gone too far. What with everything that's coming out of Brussels these days, and the world climate in general, I bet they don't lose half as much of their national identity as we do ours. It's also a nice place, and the roads...

and thats a small engine, size wise compared to the GE90 which is also fitted to the B777

I remember seeing it at the Farnborough air show for the first time and they had one of the engines with all of the ducting opened out. It is a huge beast, but the oily bits in the middle are surprisingly compact.

Modern one is a tough call. Need something that's likeable in a way but universally regarded as being cr@p.

I'd say Prius, but it falls over on the likeable bit. I would quite like to be an interloper to a prius owner's forum meet and see their faces when they find a dirty, polluting V8 in the back where the bank of AA batteries is supposed to be.

One day I'll sneak a Turbo kit onto Mrs. KW's MX5 and have some fun with it.
