Problem is, people don't seem to vote with their feet.

Plenty of companies are known to provide shoddy service yet thrive. Every time someone wants something, they forget the past and go with the cheapest / least effort option.

If companies don't suffer through their incompetence they won't change.

Saw a T5 estate hooning round Goodwood back in the summer. It was "holding its' own" amongst some interesting machinery. Suspect the boost might have been turned up a notch or two :-/

well i paid him a visit....and was he shocked  ;D

i was nice and polite didn't raise my voice and the guy phoned the police :y

so i explained the situation, they were very understanding, the seller had told them i was abusive and kicked his front door and i was threatining violence....hmmm how many violent people have you seen in a pin stripe 3 piece suit, speaking extremely rationally and being very compliant.

So they have taken a statement from me and will be looking into it, however i have a feeling that paypal will be a better route....

so in a way it was a small victory, however one night.................

You forgot the molotov cocktail, didn't you?  ;D

RAF Lasham Airport :)

Well, it hasn't been RAF since about 1947...

The perspective actually isn't bad on that picture. It's quite a familiar sight from that angle.

One of those long, thin white things in the bottom, right corner is a trailer with my glider in. As you can see, there are quite a few based at Lasham! The light coloured line in the grass that runs along the airfield almost but not quite parallel to the main runway is where the winch launching cables have been pulled out. Can't see the winch at the far end. Maybe it's early or late in the day. Winch is quite an interesting LPG project. 8.2 litre Chevy with mixer LPG system and no petrol system, all mounted on the back of a Bedford 4 ton truck. It's fun on a cold morning!

Where I like to spend my spare time. Actually, the previous picture had about 30 or 40 gliders in 2 neat rows waiting to take off. There are a few lurking on this one if you look carefully..

They've taken new pictures of my area, but still a few years old. I'm now going to waste the rest of the day looking for clues as to when they were taken.  ;)

kids being one of the biggest.

Absolutely. Got my bonnet stoved in once by a mother with a car full of kids having a tantrum.  >:(

Cow was uninsured too. Police didn't want to know and my insurance company gave up chasing her. >:(

If there's anything distracting you from driving your car safely, you have the option to pull over and sort it out.

Failing that, do what pilots do and prioritise things in order of importance: Aviate, Navigate, Communicate.

Mrs. KW sent me out to buy some moisturiser today :o. Not the most embarrassing thing I've ever bought from a chemist but it's up there. :-X

probably the mildest Madras I have ever had though......

I had a Madras in Munich once. I suspect it was toned down to suit local tastes. I'd describe it as "chicken boiled (for a looong time) in a slightly spiced gravy".  :(

Yep, I'm bored too.
