Boot release switch Qs
« on: 04 November 2012, 13:05:24 »

Is this switch a momentary one? Thinking that it is...

Also with regards to the wiring at the plug, I know that the GRGE grey/yellow is the feed from the lights, and that the BR brown is the negative, where do the others go? This is aboot the only item that Mr Haynes doesn't cover ::)

Just to add, looking to use it as an alternative to the horn circuit, so ideally looking for another live and possibly a second earth.

It's a momentary switch that grounds a Brown and Blue wire when pressed.

Brown and white and red and white are the feed to the light that comes on when boot lid is open. (read and white is positive feed, brown and white is a switched negative).
