Brake light switch adjustment

How is it done?

Plunger needs to come out 1mm :-\

This for cruise? Has it just got stuck on the in position?  :-\

Trying to adjust out the slack from pedal travel, all back together but pedal now a smidgen further away from the switch plunger. Have temporarily sorted with a clip, but less than ideal :-\

Self-adjusting by way of a ratchet on the grey plunger. Have you tried pushing red sleeve down as far as it will go then pulling grey plunger out

Both parts are white... brake switch, not clutch switch :y when you say 'down as far as it will go' do you mean towards the switch body :-\ did try pulling the plunger out with the collar in various positions, but not whilst pushing it home :-\
