Wanted: Omega Elite 3.2 Saloon

Lowish miles ideally, this one will be a keeper so must be mint or close. Everything should work - climate, seat heaters etc.

Thanks for looking

It's a pity you didn't hang onto your low mileage Elite a while longer.

Clearly the Zafira doesn't 'float your boat'.....and it wasn't cheap either. :-\

I very nearly sold my MV6 when I bought the Merc. Luckily, I didn't, and the German battleship is now long gone.

Good luck with your search. :y

Stupid question, I know, but does it have to be a V6?

If not, I will drop you a PM :y

Opti - the problem was parking. If I had a drive or garage, I could have kept it. If only I was the Lord of my own Manor, maybe one day  :(   :y

Al, thanks for the offer. But I couldn't possible drive a poverty spec Omega with half the engine missing. What would the neighbours think?   :y

Fair enough :y car in question is an '03 28k 2.2 Sport, so MV6 spec... is an ongoing project, so currently not perfect anyways, but has real potential  :y

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your offer and the spec is not all that important (that part was said in jest), if this car was a 3.2 MV6, I would surely have been interested  :y

It had the same pale grey interior as mine so easy to compare (albeit, slightly unfair - it had twice the mileage). Seats looked like they has never been cleaned, interior wasn't hoovered either. Paint on climate buttons had flaked off. Stains on interior carpets and rusty stains on boot carpet. No coolant, expansion bottle filled with water only so HBV probably let go and cam covers leaking.

Cracked rear bumper, supermarket dings here and there and scuff on front bumper and door sill. I decided within seconds it wasnt the car for me but after 10 mins i walked.
