I picked up my 02 tdi estate I was buying today. very pleased with it too, as the seller said it has a full up to date service stamps all done by Sherwoods , Darlington vx dealership. drove the hours motorway drive home really good . chuffed  :y :y

A good 2.2DTi does have a nice surge of power when the turbo has spun up, you just have to have it in the right gear at the right time to make the most of that power band!

A bad DTi is a lacklustre slug in comparison!

All depends on the servicing the car has received previously.

the last one I had I took it James Hanks , Wakefield . he blanked the egr and also remapped it. he tunes racing cars & although I don't claim to understand it, he can design a programme to remap your vehicle .
