Radio connector pinout
« on: 29 September 2017, 18:34:46 »

Can anybody help me with the pinouts on this connector from a CART2007 Phillips unit. Number 17 - 36. As you can see on the image some are not used.

Image is flipped so that the numbers match the label on the radio, unfortunately number  17 - 36 isn't labeled. I am mainly looking for the connection to the steering wheel buttons.
On my other Omega that cable is in the lowest connectors #5 and that one is not used here.

My cable adapter has connections at the following positions:
18-23
27
32-36

So there is a mismatch in some

What age is the car you are comparing it to?

Should be the same, but equally be irrelevant if your replacing the unit with non factory  :y

Be aware than GM label the pins correctly. Most dumb assed internet sites do it the other way round.

The unit I'm putting in has support for steering wheel buttons. If I can find the correct cable the steering wheel buttons will work. I did this on my other Omega byt then that cable was in pos 5 on the lowest connector where it is empty on this car.

If I can find out which one between 17 - 36 is the steering wheel control it will work on this aftermarket unit.

Here is my post about the other Omega when I got it to work there.
