Am I right in thinking that these are no longer available ?

My fronts have done over 150K now and even though fitting the rear poly bushes have made the slow speed turn in a hell of a lot better, it still just doesn't feel right at motorway speeds 
I have checked the steering idler for play and that seems okay to me.
No play on anything else at the front either.
All shocks are B4's and have done less then 20K
Rear springs are in one piece.

Am I looking at Eibachs ?

Yes afraid so, I bought the second last set of MV6 springs about three years ago. Note MV6 are -15mm and Eibach are -30mm

Yeh, I know 
Trouble is, I occasionally pull a pikey van plus with the LPG tank over the rear axel, its low anyway 

Oh well, hopefully if I take into account the springs will be shagged anyway it will be okay

You could put a 10mm poly pad underneath the rear springs, think you can get them from Pedders. I put these on the car with MV6 springs on it because it's always carrying a weight in the boot.

I seem to remember something on here about doubleing up on the rubber pads to do the same thing 
Do these poly pads fit at the top or bottom of the spring ?

I've reciently polyied the back and love the slow speed turn in / feel but if i'm honest, the droning does get on my tits after a while 
I would go stark raving mad if it got worse

Personally I think stacking two pads (you'll have to cut the neck off one) won't give the required rude height, will be too soft and the ones I've seen (I was going to do the same) were all compressed from years of use.

Has anybody found a material that potentially could be used to replace the top poly pad to give the same geometry to the suspension BUT reduce that friggin droning noise that you get ?
In other words get the best of both worlds ?

Don't bother with the Eibach/Irmscher/Chav rear springs. They are all universally unsuited to Omegas.  Fronts, , rears 

The amount of spacers I had to put in (10mm, plus 2 sets of rubber), and it still wasn't handling, and always catching the diff and rear bumber on speed bumps.

The spring rate would be wrong then, and would present issues.  A lowered spring obviously has to be stiffer, if that makes sense?

Presumably different end cuts suit different applications...

Lowered/stiffer springs tend to have more coils, not fewer

Given the troubles I've had with the arse of one of mine, I would say it probably would be quite compromised.

TB, always thought TBE was elite spec or are we talking about the sadly deceased Bullet ?

Can you get the eibach front springs separate ?
I've only seen the complete kits 

I would have thought that with the pigtails on the end of the springs, chopping off would be a no no (but what do I know  )

The car at the moment is on 155K MV6 front springs / Lemforder standard hight 20K but suposingly heavy duty springs at the rear.
75% of the time it handles pretty nice BUT under spirited cornering, the back loads up very quickly and (in the words of my lad who was following me) the back end looks like its going to tip over 

Okay how about this ................   I change the front springs for something a little lower but stiffer AND leave the rear springs in place but either fit a pair of stiffer rear shocks or maybe fit a pair of gas adjustables c/w retrofitted pump

I have a front set still attached to the fromt legs left from my MV6 i broke. The car had only done around 90 thousand. Yes there up for sale if your interested that is.
