Rear subframe bushes - where to buy?
« on: 13 January 2018, 22:44:14 »

The ProjectMV6 is in dire need of new doughnut bushes on the rear subframe.

Has anyone bought any recently? Any makes to avoid?

I think I bought Genuine VX last time I bought some for my Elite :-\

Pedders stock the poly ones, otherwise buy Febi from eBay... Circa £15-20 each ;)

I did have a search on the Pedders Web site but they don't list any bushes for Omegas

Search by part number...

EP1145 and EP1168. :y

Incidentally, they have changed the design of these from the previous batch. I will report back re fit and characteristics in a couple of weeks. ;)

Lots of people selling the Febi doughnut bush. I can't see anyone listing the big rubber washer that (I think) should go between the subframe and the body :-\

My memory isn't what it was  :( I can't remember whether the doughnuts I fitted to my Elite came with the washers :-\

I just wanted to add that I ordered Polyurethane Rear Subframe Bushings for the Pontiac GTO/Vauxhall Monaro from Pedders last autumn and those are good. Car feels lighter, the "big boat" feeling went away :)
