Buy a Mini Cooper S Coupe... that way you can impress your BMW car share buddy and have a car that isn't based on a Ford Ka/Vauxhall Adam ::)

Jeez what's happening to Tunnie?!  :o

His type of car is a big barge that he can waft about everywhere at 40mph, but he's now looking at unhinged hot hatches!  ::)

Maybe he's had a liquid lunch?  :)

As said, not normally what I would look at. Fiesta ST etc don't appeal, but for some reason this does. As mentioned sound great and I think they look nice as well.  :-[ :-[ :-[

Suspect I would love it for a day, then get tired of its rock hard ride.

I had a clit 172 for the day once. Great fun for an hour but by then I was done with it.

Very quick, but a noisy little fu*ker with a rock hard ride. The Fiat would probably be similar.

Now if you were 22 it would probably be great........not so good for an old boy like yourself though. ;)

Well that is that, me being 6ft5. The reviews did state lack of steering column adjustment a pain.

Yes I think so, but still one for the garage if I won the lottery. Just not my daily driver....

If you fancy visiting your youth and blowing off some cobwebs now and again, go and buy a old Mk1 Golf GTI, XR3i or Astra GTE before they all either rot or go up too far in price  :y

If he didn't like the Fiat's ride, he certainly won't like a Mini :o

695 biposto would be a giggle, if only for a dog box  :y

For sensible money I’d have a rear engined rwd Twingo. Then again I wouldn’t, because I don’t fit. Last time I was in a 500 the driver told me to stop leaning forward because he couldn’t see the wing mirrors.

I wasn’t leaning forward.  ::)

Tunnie is right, the Fiat 500 is becoming more popular with men:

Just watch out for those with teeth marks in the dashboard

Nice little car, don't see many about so like the rarity factor but after being used to large cars I think you would soon tire of it despite its performance.
