There's a couple of C63 Mercs running about round here.I don't know whether they're any good as cars-but they don't half sound well :y

I would have bought another one, but the bidding went too high and the seller wasn't very forthcoming with information.

The black estate? I thought that went for a reasonable price...£400 odd.

That looks a nice car.  Be interesting to see how much it fetches. Price of a holiday? Price of a weekend away?

Aiming for something like this next. Might regret it, but you only live once.  :)

Or what about this V12  :y

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes-CL600-V12-AMG-factory-kit/292405630516?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D49129%26meid%3D4bc361278b884e878a373158e248c065%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D122921109671&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

Thats a load of car for not much money :o

Problem is though, prime time when Merc build was appalling. The coil packs/plug things on those, are they not like £1k or something? Remember Clarkson bought on cheap on that vs BMW 8 series.

Not cheap parts like the Omega

Its also in the era (ie, post early 90s) when MB were churning out utter shite due to a lack of skilled designers, which is why - and it pains me to say it - post mid 90s beemers are streets ahead of MB in every single regard.

I don't care.I want one.  :P ;D They were circa £75k when new. One can be picked up now for between £2 - £3k.
If it turns out to be a money pit, its a pita, but not the end of the world.
The biggest worry with them is the ABC suspension. Theoretically its very expensive when it goes wrong, and it often does.
However, just like the Omega, there is plenty of useful info online for avoiding great expense and doing things properly for a lot less money.
