Yes, the average Scotsman has always been ahead of the time and took up the notion of being gender neutral long before it became fashionable!

As for the wall even the fearless Roman Legions decided not to venture beyond it as they were scared of those very warlike Scots / Celts.  That is why Scotsman do not scare easily and have no doubt about their manhood (lovely!!! )
