They can, provided it is pink; failing that, they get sent straight back to the kitchen!

She did well as the aim in such situations is to safely navigate things that will hurt. :y :y :y I know when my brother got his PSV it included a session on a skid pad in a bus.

Even Saudi is going soft by allowing women to drive.....albeit only with the permission of their husband. :-\

If she had been reading the road ahead and driving accordingly, she would never have got herself into the situation in the first place.
It was well held though. The split second from checking make up in the mirror to reacting to what she suddenly saw is a short space of time.  :D

saw that and the interview with her a few moments ago. What was the Dylan trying to do in the car?

Looks like a "German Mini" to me - were you expecting it to have a functional seat-steering-wheel interface or just a clueless hipster/fashion victim? :D

I suppose the argument could be made that she was driving too fast for the conditions-difficult to tell for sure-but even so she did well to get out of it.Yes a certain amount of luck to be sure, but in a situation such as that a bit of luck does no harm, skill and training also played their part.Well done her :y

Looks to me like she had the presence of mind to come off the brakes just when it mattered. Could she do that every time? Who knows, but the fact that she didn't freeze with wheels locked as the majority of drivers would puts her well above the average, where she should be given that she's a PSV driver. :y

Saw it on the news last night (as I don't do gay tube clips), and well held.

But like airline pilots are trained for the unexpected, aren't bus drivers trained on skidpans, so this becomes 2nd nature?

Clearly the MINI driver was a first class idiot, but we knew that, because they were stupid enough to buy a fashion accessory.

And I'm with Opti - most of the "female" (in the loose sense) bus drivers I've met are big old diesel dykes, whereas this chick was almost worth a squirt.
