The agony of toothache.
« on: 27 June 2018, 16:30:37 »

I've just endured an emergency appointment to extract an upper wisdom tooth.

The pain of toothache is, well, f*ucking painful... :'(........and you can't get away from it.

It cost £110 but I would have paid ten times that to be rid of the pain.

A cheap fix
many dentists insist on root canal and filling such problems £500+

many people also don't know that there is a set price for things and you can say "just take it out"

should not take too long for your tongue to keep looking for said missing tooth  ;D

At the moment  it feels as if the hole is larger than Kent.

Fortunately the gap can't be seen ...........I don't want to end up looking like some toothless wino.

I think I paid £65 for root canal and associated fillings, which took 3 trips, and included the next 2 checkups (I'm private)

He must.

My private female dentist wouldn't even let me look her up and down for £65. :)

The one who did the root canal was a real pretty young thing ;)

I had to have a wisdom tooth out in Bucharest a few years ago when I was working there.  ::)

It was an interesting experience, they made me wear a lead chain mail poncho thing when they X-rayed me!  :o

It was only twenty quid, though and like Lord Opti I was desperate to be out of pain!  :(
