Facelift Estate tailgate loom plug question
« on: 15 July 2018, 09:58:19 »

This is the tailgate loom plug (car side)

As you can see, it has a single brown wire / yellow trace with a small plug on it.

Were the hell does this plug into ??

The main plug was disconected but this one was not seen and pulled away when the loom was pulled out  :(

My Haynes manual is down at the garage so can't check wiring diagrams for you, have you checked for any power to it when things are turned on or is it permanently live?

OK, facelift tailgate loom is in two pieces, second plug lives in main body of tailgate... other end of your mystery plug is, indeed, the tailgate contact switch :y
