Astra G fusebox dilemma.............
« on: 19 July 2009, 09:02:43 »

Morning all

Can someone help me with a iittle problem with my Dads Astra G please.......

His cigarette lighter socket wasnt working so after checking the connectors on the back of the lighter itself I checked the fuses.

Now, he didnt have his manual with him so we had  no idea which fuse it was, so had to check each and every one in turn, taking out, checking and putting straight back in......

However, now the info display (temp, radio station etc) doesnt work and neither does the radio......??

The cigarette lighter fuse HAD blown, and is being replaced this morning, currently there is no fuse in its place.

Any ideas gratefully appreciated

As always, many thanks.......!!!

Martyn

LOL

Well we found the problem.....

Somehow the fuse for the radio had dropped out and was lying next to the door sill when we looked properly at it today.

So much rubbish in the old boys Astra its difficult to spot anything in there........!!!

Alls well thats ends well.......
