Not that i would go over 70mph ::) ::) ::). But i here it all the time on Top Gear about this and that car limted to 155 or what ever. Does the Omega have an electronic limter fitted to them

High performance German cars (apart from Porsche)have limiters which are set to 155mph,they never made an Omega which was fast enough to need one. ;)

There are 3 speed limiters fitted to an Omega

1) Your rigt foot
2) The number of points on your driving license
3) The power/aerodynamic ratio of the vehicle.

Hmm. My Omega would be going "quite quick" before it ever ran out of revs in top. Around 170-180 MPH says the back of a fag packet. I think it'd run out of grunt before then. ;)

Good point Kevin,although in theory the gearing will affect top speed.down a steep hill with a good tail wind? ;D

...But that was a Carlton to us Martin and it wasnt really German,the reason it did 170+was the lotus designed and built engine. ;)

ive found the best way to eliminate the speed limiter,,,,,tell her if she dont like speed she can walk ;D
