Two Omegas for sale - Final Prices - Got to go
« on: 01 September 2009, 15:14:53 »

Enough is enough with Elite

1998 Omega 2.5 V6 CDX
141k
Tax til Sept
13 months MOT
All the usual CDX toys
17" Aftermarket MOMO alloys

Bad bits:
Grille is loose, and tape on bumper under it
Bumper is not flush, shown in pics

All well mechanically as far as I'm aware and everything works

1999 3.0 Elite Manual
119k
Mot til July '10
Tax til Jan '10
The usual gadgets, sat nav, telephone, Xenons

Bad bits:
Rust spots on doors, see pics
EM light flickers (investigating)
Exhaust needs to be refitted and cats replaced (cats purchased ready to go on)
Will have brand new DIS pack and leads and rocker cover gaskets and breathers just done.

Many parts included to get this one sorted again.

2.5 CDX Auto - £600
3.0 Elite -  £500
Or have them both for £1000

No Offers

Or consider an part ex offer on something that needs nothing doing to it

Need them gone

In addition to previous advert, Elite may need trailering away unless you want to fit the DIS pack, Leads and refit the exhaust (cat back) here, would happily help if required. It also now has a crack in the windscreen on the passenger side.

Any questions or interest let me know  :y
I'm down your way in October so if you still have the Elite by then I'll come and have a look (especially if it's fixed!). I'll be staying near Fordingbridge.

On the Elite

New DIS pack fitted, leads were going on when I noticed water in well 6. Scuttle has been off and has dripped in from somewhere. Most of it I got out but now have a small amount of it and some paper towel stuck in the well.

I've well and truly lost my temper with it this time so it has got to go.

New DIS pack, new leads, new plugs, rocker gaskets and breathers done. Cambelt 20k ago, Clutch 11k ago.

Will need to be trailered or towed away

£400 for the Elite. Take it away

I would yes but would need to source some replacement wheels. Maybe a part ex on some standard alloys if you have them?

The sale of the Elite is on hold now. Today I succesfully fitted the DIS pack and leads. Engine is all back together, now needs exhaust fitting as well as bumper sorting and it is done. I may decide to sell it but would probably increase the price slightly to reflect the work done. I've come this far so I may as well finish it.

If I can see (and hear) it running, I'd be interested in the engine, box, diff, any related electronic crap required to make them run, and the rims for a new project.

You can keep the rest of the car, because it won't be needed.

dayoftelford - pm on its way

KillerWatt - I would prefer to sell whole as it is less hassle - I don't really have the facilities here to break a car either. However, if it comes to that will make sure you have first shout on said items.

I'll take said items out myself in under an hour with ease.

I don't mind disposing of what's left if you don't want to be left with what is nothing more than a shell and interior, but I wouldn't be putting in a bid on it.
