is the light coming on on the switch?

only asking because I have one that has a poor contact and can be quite fiddly to get it to turn on.

Light does come on. Looks like 2 seats down 2 to go.

Ok, I assume you've checked the fuse, and all the connections to the heating pad/switch.

Fuse is ok,as for the connector are they under the seat?.The seat has got warm in the past ,just wondering if some one has knelt on the base and broke in pad.

I've not checked myself but I would have thought the connector would be under the seat. Once at the connector you can uncouple it and check you get 12 volts to it and you also measure the resistance of the heater pad with a multi-meter. I would think the resistance should be a couple of hundred ohms but can't say for sure.

Are you sure its not one of the relays has packed up.

The rear seat relays run of the same cable from connector by the passenger rear door for both left and right seats.

If one works I would say its either the relay or the connector.

Gotta be worth checking both may even be a chafe/kink in the wire causing the problem.

Rear seat relays are clipped in place under the rear cushion at the front, kinda inside the metal base area. hope that makes sense. :y
