Head unit removal
« on: 22 December 2006, 16:31:28 »

When attempting to replace the bulbs on my climate control display I failed at the first hurdle, I can't remove my head unit!

I bought a Vauxhall audio removal tool from Halfords, stuck the widget in the holes and nothing happened. It can't be hard surely?! What am I doing wrong?

Cheers,

Chris

There are 4 allen screws screwed into the holes you are trying to put your removal tools into, think its a theft deterant to make removal more difficult for the local scumbag who's after your radio.
Remove them then your tool should go in and remove the radio no problems.
