Warning Light,Gear selection.
« on: 31 January 2016, 17:05:22 »

Hello,

I have a 02 2.2 Omega Auto 83,000 miles.

I love it to death but it has the car with spanner over it warning light on. I'm now having problems selecting the correct gears. All the yellow dots come on sometimes and it often feels like it is in the wrong gear.

Is it the box of an electrical fault causing the car to select wrong gears in the auto box?

I would be grateful for any help.

Regards,

David.

Could be cam sensor related but more than likely a dirty selector switch
