Its a modern cancer on society, which I think is very sad  :'(
And I think its more than just travelling. It HAS bred a society of incapable, risk adverse, useless, self centred arsesoles. And many of them have various allergies which is now being suggested to be caused by being brought up in sterile environments.  I can't remember the last time I got on a plane, and not been greeted with the warning that there was somebody with some allergy, so no consumption of <xyz> etc.

This one grips my sh!t somewhat... There are people with genuine allergies who could easily die as a consequence of someone else being selfish, as you well know. But there are a lot of people who claim allergies because it gives them “tummy ache” or, worse still, they just don’t like something. These people generate the attitude you have towards it and puts other people at risk >:(

Easyjet website says...

Quote
Flying with children and infants

We understand that flying with children can sometimes be difficult and stressful so we’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for you.

If you’re travelling with children under 5, we’ll board you early;
You can bring two items for free including a travel cot, pushchair, double pushchairs, buggy, car seat, collapsible or non-collapsible pram, booster seat, baby back carrier (please check they are suitable to take on board);
You can choose your seats in advance (for a fee) to ensure you sit together;
We have kids snack packs on board, that include puzzles and games to keep kids entertained;
We support breastfeeding mothers and you can feed your baby on board at any time.

Basically a push chair and a car seat would be free, any more is charged but doesn't specify if that is per booking or per passenger. Under two travel on lap for free but have no luggage allowance, alternative is to buy a seat for the sprog.

Also trying to be clever and booking extra legroom seats will only opps you up as you will have nowhere to put all the crap that travelling children seem to need... Besides kids can't sit in exit rows...

Actual bag allowances and charges vary airline to airline, but the seat specifics are universal. ;)

Depends. Qantas to Oz we had 3 free items and a luggage allowance. But we did pay a token amount (10% of full fare rings a bell). We had a sky cot so got extra leg room too :y

But that’s long haul 😉

What is this obsession with low miles all about ? Imo, it isn't good for a car to sit around not being used.

I have always purchased 1 owner low mileage cars & never had any problems at all,bought my Merc almost  3 years ago with 30,000 miles with full history now on 38,000 & runs perfectly (model year 2000)

8k in 3 years is low mileage too though ;)

To bring this up to date... Rang and told them not to bother, useless retards as no point delivering after the car is repaired! Today had refund confirmation - short the premium delivery charge >:( ::)

Rang again and spoke with another person with no personality but he did agree to sort the rest of the refund ::)

Makes me think again about whether I should LPG my other estate (if I ever put it on the road ::)) :-\

Over the last few days, around work, both wishbones, front wheel bearing, brake lines and welding on mother’s 206.

Hateful shitbox fought all the way! But it’s done now

unusual to have to weld one of them even though its French :-\

Rear chassis rotten (both sides). Holed through the rear exhaust hanger so within 30cms of rear suspension mount. TBH, this will probably be the last year it goes through an MOT and only because she was down here already, otherwise she would have binned it

You know were to find sympathy ;)

I'm saying nothing on the subject. Its entirely, completely, utterly you're own fault for being retarded and even consider using them.

BTW, just so you are aware, they are notoriously bad for given refunds. And you cop the return postage.

I won’t be paying return postage because I’ll refuse the delivery - outside delivery window ;)

As for the rest... Convenience won over the crappy service that some people seem to have had :-X ::) The nearest decent factors to me is an hour round trip ::)

They really are a bunch of retards... Ordered on Wednesday at 16:01 (by their clock) paying for 24 hour delivery. Spoke to them immediately (after 10 minutes on hold!) to try and get it shipped that day despite being a minute after the cut-off. I was told that it had been invoiced off by the warehouse 4 minutes previously (bearing in mind is been on hold 10 minutes) otherwise they could have done something. OK... My fault for missing the cut-off.

Just had a message... Delivery Tuesday 28th! Bunch of retards can refund postage as a start... I may even go to a local factor tomorrow and send the whole lot back as I need to get the car fixed  so Mum can go home on Friday - I’m busy all day Wednesday through Friday

Added to my shitlist  >:( >:(
