how about "There must be no dangerous sharp edges or projections caused by corrosion or damage" though?

It's not caused by damage, it's caused by removal of the bumper - Pass and advise ::)

It's refreshing how many members have more than one Omega. Some members are moving on to 'more modern' vehicles, I am more than content with my Omegas; comfortable, fast, reliable, cheap to buy and cheap to run.
Even with a £10k budget, I've come to the conclusion that there isn't a worthy replacement out there that doesn't require a huge compromise that an Omega doesn't have. With £20k, I can get quite close, but still looking at 5-6yr old vehicle with 80-100k on clock :(

And believe me, I've looked. Hard.

Buy a Passat derv and be done with it. :)

There is nothing to like about a Passat, apart from maybe the complete lobotomy that occurs around the purchase of any VW
