Thanks, I will pop down the dealer this week.
Just a quick add on, if you don't mind.
while I have it stripped down, the display I mean. Is there a connection that could be loose causing the pixel drop out? It's a very basic unit and the pixels work sometimes and not others.
It is in one of the menus but, its VERY buried and not obvious to get to....Go on then, gimme a clue.
Its the NCDC2013 and 2015 that do this as the computer functions are controlle via the main unit....its an option that can be turned off though.Would that be via Tech2 then, cos i've got the 2013 and i don't see it in any of the menus. :-?
Then the towbar removal is definately unrelated.QuoteAlso, having the towbar removed shouldn't necessarily effect the alarm function, depending on where the connections were made of course.
You have said the indicators and hazard functions are all ok, so i reckon it's unrelated.
The towbar electrics were connected in behind the plastic trim along the backend of the boot.
I see where your coming from but this guy hasn't seen my black omega and it doesnt need tech2 putting on it as far as I know.I know, that's not what i was meaning, i wasn't refering to the black mig.
Oh and I like the idea of the winscreen done on the insurance shall give that some thought.Yep, that would be terrible if you came out to find that window smashed.
