I did quite like the Ranger. Bigger and higher up than I expected.  :y
Really, really popular in these parts over the last 2 or 3 years.  Not sure if its the HS2 mongrels, or all the workmen from the building estates.

There must be some really good tax efficient lease deals about.

Earlier in the year some neighbours did a major remodelling job to their house and for 6 months our road was full of vans and Rangers.
Hope that it won't take as long as the 'project' around the corner from me. Been going for around two years and the roof trusses have just been put in.

but why has it taken 20 years & a 4 part mini series on telly for anyone in gov to do anything about it? There was a Panorama episode about some years ago detailing most of Mr Allan Bates vs The PO
As I understand it, neither the PO or Fijitsu have actually admitted there is a (substantial (as all software has bugs)) issue with the system, and it's still running today. Is it still cocking up today?

Sadly, in this day and age, it has to be on trash tv* for anybody to notice, and politicians only take an interest when its obvious which way the public mood is going.

*not seen the series yet (but intend to), not idea if its crap or not, but you know what I mean.
Must admit that i found it guite good. Even the 'fiction' parts weren't over the top either. Also, the 'real story 'episode is well made too.

see that she’s handing her CBE back I following a petition but that’s no consolation for the poor sub postmasters wrongly accused and found guilty.   >:(
I’d only picked up snippets of this story in the past and hadn’t realised that it was such a large scale miscarriage of justice. I feel genuine anger towards the Post Office for blatantly lying to cover their incompetence and failing to see a significance of such a large amount of accountancy inaccuracies.

Wonder if she'll give her 5 mill PO leaving handout back too!  ;)
Of course she will, as you or I would, Ron.

 ;D ;D ;D
;D ;D Spot on Steve.  ;)

My daughter and son in law are considering moving to Lanzegrotty. She is doing Spanish lessons, SIL not bothered. Surprises me how many British expats never bother to learn the lingo of the country they're in. Just assume that the locals all speak English.  ::)
