Hmm rim paint eh?  ???

I've been thinking about having ago at tidying up the wheels on the Mondeo as they're pretty scruffy.  :-\

I take it that's the kind of rim we are talking about?  :)

It is a shame that Opel did such a piss poor job of rust prevention  :(
Ask Lizzie if you can dip your car in the swimming pool of Supertrol  she has on order  ;D :D

if anyone is going to use the rust Protection Primer, remember it is a primer and requires a sealing top coat of paint  :y

90% of OOF don't own Omegas anymore  ;D BUT, those who did, and learned that metal goes rusty  :P could perhaps use these products to extend the life of their current replacement lesser cars  ;D :D

Lidl often sell brake cleaner, spray grease ,silicone etc too

I don't work for Lidl , just thought it worth a post as such products are expensive in Halfrauds and car shops and expensive online shopping (due to P&P)  ;)

Did they? The basic Omega structure was designed in the seventies, and most of them don't show even minor problems until they are well into their second decade. Those problems are fixable, but most of us that can do such work don't consider it to be worth doing on a car of that age that is worth pennies. And paying for it to be done would cost what a much newer car in decent condition does.
