Can't you just fit the Omega with the fill tap that works with the pump at Bicester  :-\
My LPG Carlton had about 3 adapters ,not that I ever used them , for the LPG filling

The car has the standard UK fitting. The pump has the standard UK fitting.  Just for some reason, she can't get it to work. Nor can the (arrogant and useless) staff there.

I can't help, as I think I'm classed as unwelcome for giving the staff there "open and honest" feedback 2 or 3 years back.

LPG has had its day. Its nowhere near green enough for the current climate, and garages aren't interested in the grief involved in stocking it for a small and decreasing number of customers.

I'm inclined to agree. There's an LPG station 5 miles from my new office. No problem! Except it increased my commute by an hour to go there on the way home. :(

Hence I'm starting to think about Omega replacements. :'(
Run it on petrol and don't worry about it.

Seriously, if you otherwise like it, it will cost you double* the saving to replace it  :)

*Buying a £500-1,000 shitter every MoT notwithstanding, and unlikely to be your shopping list :y

*looks out of the window*

It's warm. It's not raining. Why isn't Kevin driving the rollerskate, instead?  :D

.. because the distraction of changing jobs meant I overlooked getting it MOT'ed. :-[

All fixed today thanks to Mrs.KW. :y Apparently it messed her hair up, though. ;D

.. and, naturally, watch the weather deteriorate now.

In honesty, the Omega is starting to need more TLC than I have time to give it, so something newer beckons anyway.

Spotted a Citroen C6 on road today, not seen one in years. They have aged well, looked nice against all ze German battleships.

Replaced the entire N/s drive shaft on the Zafira A tractor juice edition ,with the Ebay one (delivered to football club)
correct shaft but for some odd reason it had a reluctor ring on the outer CV  :-\
the ABS works off the speed sensor in the hub
anyway, Mr angle grinder soon had the reluctor ring cut off  ;D
But Mr angle grinder started spitting sparks/smoke from inside, so not long for this world  :'(
I replaced the hub/wheel bearing assembly  with a new one too £27.57 ebay
now drives quiet as a mouse*  ;)

* a mouse being chased by an angry farmer on a noisy tractor obviously  ;D

Are you supposed to do that? I thought the nice man in the garage did it once every 12 months or 20,000 miles, whichever is soonest.  ;D
