Took a deposit for the Zafira. Will be sad to see it go. Despite it being a PITA recently. ;D

Finally got around to agreeing to have the meters replaced. Both gas and electricity were over 20 years old so 10+ years overdue.....

Waited all afternoon on Monday - no show.

Rescheduled for this morning - British Gas installer arrived and got on with swapping the meters.

Electrical meter swapped first and left to establish communications while the gas meter was swapped.

Gas meter swapped. Waited. Waited a bit longer.

I now have two shiny new dumb meters  ;D

Bought a second cluth for the Monaro
The one the V8 forum told me to buy, and I did, does not fit
So, thats nearly a grand for two clutches now

 :o :o

I was tempted by a Monaro, before I bought the BMW, but could not quite justify it.

No, it wont be now. Having gas flowed LS2 heads and a Howard cam fitted along with AAS headers and 200 micron sports cats.
They all said on V8 forum, yea, you need the LS7 clutch
Bought it at just shy of 500 quid and it dont fit my LS1
So, uprated LUK clutch kit to fit LS1 now on its way from the US via Rock Auto

Ouch on clutches, standard power?

Managed to get the bonnet open :y

It has taken a week of periodically pulling the release leaver and pushing/pulling on the bonnet.

Need to fit a good battery and see if it starts now.

What can possibly go wrong ::)
New battery I ordered from Tayna yesterday (standard delivery) arrived today.

Need to get of my arse and fit it now.

Took the driver's seat back apart to reposition the upper backrest air bladder.

Been meaning to look at it for months as it got folded over on itself and wouldn't deflate, meaning the upper backrest was digging into my shoulders.

All sorted and back together and working again so hopefully a more comfortable commute again 8)

I should add, even now, there aren't many large estate cars to compare to the Omega, (E Class, Volvo V90, possibly the Pissat/Superb), and if you look after it, it should serve you well ;)
