And we have a secret B&S saddo on the site, isn't that right Mr YZ250 ;D

 ;D ;D

This only came about when Mrs YZ got herself an allotment a few years back (given it up now). I have no interest in growing stuff and my knowledge of such things is zero, but because I’m a thoughtful hubby I mowed the large plot that she had for her. On one occasion the mower started playing up, so I stripped it apart, whacked a carb kit on it for less than a tenner and away it went.  :y  The chap on the next plot had seen me working on it and asked if I’d look at his broken Hayter Harrier, so I fixed that. Somehow word spread that I was the Go To man for fixing/servicing mowers, rotavators, strimmers, chainsaws and hedge trimmers. I had them lined up in my garage. It then progressed to servicing/repairing the school ride on mower, the Toro general mower and the cricket pitch cylinder mower. I eventually had to call a stop to it.  ;D

Atco have been around for a million years so you should be ok with it.  :y

when can I bring you my Atco?  ;D It'll run of a fashion ....  :-\
Oi! There's a queue...
;D ;D

I ran the R Class out once and it wasn't happy for a while after... fortunately it didn't kill the lift pump :-[

If it fired straight off then it sounds like you got away with it.
Fixed for Englishness
Gotten is the past participle of getting. :P

Gotten is what Yanks do ....

My biggest torque wrench goes to 210 Nm, and I'll probably turn it some extra degrees afterwards and be happy.

That exactly what the local garage said he'd done when I gave him a hub/bearing to fit to my Omega. I never had a subsequent problem

Can't you ask it to stop brushing the house and do the drive instead?  :)

never owned a Princess although when they first came out I did like the look of them compared to the three box saloons everyone else was churning out[Cortina/fiat 131/132/Mirafiori etc] I did however have an Ambassador 2.0HLS in the late '80's.comfy,spacious and reliable[could have done with a 5 speed gearbox] I was absolutely gutted when it was written off by a drunk in a Transit van.

it was only in recent years when someone pointed it out to me that I realised one was a hatchback & the other had a boot!   ??? ;D ;D ;D Shows how much notice I took of them.  ::) ::)
But .... I can remember way back when new car registrations came out on 1st Aug .... MEN 700R was the first new reg I saw that day & it was on a white Princess.  :y

There's 3 conifers about 50 foot high, 2 gardens away from me that need a similar trim ::)
if anyone has the lads mobile number ? :D

and if he could then cut down the sycamore that is my daughter's neighbour's garden .... its roots are lifting their drive & its branches are now brushing her house.  :y
