Hi Guys
On getting ellie and driving home I bumped a pothole ( resurfacing they were ) not hard of fast and the ABS/TC lights came on. Stopped when I could switched off and pondered, switched back on and hey lights gone out and stayed out. Now on my fiddling days that followed I noticed that the TC button did nowt not even sparkel. Ok so I shall wait for when I get manual. Took it into my garage to have timeing belt done all ok ( me happy I know its done ). A mile down road ABS/TC lights came on and only go out on initial start up. Read throught this Forums tech bit and see that if you get no speedo as well its a possible control unit :(.
So lights on at dash switch inoperative and at MO no manual ( talk about being blind )
Any sugestions please guys
Terry
SORRY ABOUT BEING LONG WINDED IN MY DISCRIPTION

Oh dear...it sounds like your ABS/TC ECU is on its way out. MEGA BUCKS if you take it to a garage. £50ish for a secondhand one and fit it yourself. It's a bit fiddly, but not difficult whatsoever.

The ECU's most prone to failure are post 98, so you may be lucky and its just a sensor issue.

Or 100 quid for a re-con one with 2 years warranty from
