Was going to wash it and do a few other little jobs, but decided to install a new bath indoors instead. Never done it before, but it went well. Getting ambitious now. Am going to fit a new sink / vanity unit tomorrow.
It could yet end in tears.  ;D
Wait until you do the toilet... Then the shit really happens  :D

Fill the bath with water and level check it full. They tend to move a bit when full and a gap starts appearing in your sealant.

I've stopped folding the ones on my astra unless I'm in a tight space, the motors are starting to to sound a bit pained.

Cleaned breathers on the daily.... Oh dear, for a car that does anything between 600 - 1000 miles a week, mainly long distance motorway trips and has oil and filter every 5K I wrongly expected them to be a lot cleaner than they were.

Looked at the dashboard as a little yellow light came on. And stayed on. Looks a bit like an engine.

Called Skoda.. ;D

It's probably the "Our emissions cheats have failed" warning. Nothing to worry about.

My generic code reader (Maxiscan) just says "$7E9 Engine" and "$7E8 A/T" so.. that's no help, either, and I never did buy the VAGCom setup.

Still, Skoda appear unconcerned considering it's booked in for a weeks time...

Cheers Tunnie  :y I was, ironically, fairly close to you last weekend.. half a week before the light came on, though ;D Not to worry - this is what warranties are for, I mean, there has to be some advantage to letting yourself get bent over by the depreciation, right? ;D

Hopefully it's warranty covered  :y

When I did a plug in for pscocoa, a useless student with a laptop proved better at diagnosis than VW Camberley. They wanted to fit a £1,000 ECU for levelling system, I proved it was just a single sensor at fault. (Mr Pscocoa was sure this was fault as well)

I understand the VW dealer was corrected in their error  ::)  ;D

It is the problem moving on from Omega though, as you are at mercy of dealers/warranty and their investigations. Hence buying the VCDS software....

Noticed the mirrors on the battlebus aren't working, but sunroof it.

So time to get meter out, but suspect the switch.
