Went out this afternoon to turn the Desmond over and let it run for a bit. :y

Having just made and consumed the dinner/tea (as applicable) I've sat down to see what's up here.  Looking at the general help board and John-R's uneven idle thread in particular it's dawned on me that I forgot about the Desmond - it's been sitting running (at an even idle undoubtedly) since 1600hrs or so. :-[

It was like an oven inside ;D although the gauge seems to have remained at the 85 degree ish point.

Collected car from bodyshop sporting a shiny new towbar and a straight bumper 8). Just waiting until I can get back to the stealers to pick up the new clips for the quarter trim, then all done. :y

Swaped wheels front to back today as the fronts were wearing the outer edges slightly due to fitting new wishbones. Since lowering the car its compensated for it so time to swop em. :y

As it wasn't being used at all (for the most part) I put it on a SORN, and although I can get a bit of speed up on the driveway, it's not really the same as giving it a good skelp around the country roads here.

Had a trial fitted chains to the MV6 - thought it might be worth getting to know how to do it before any snow.

Took TBE for a little spin, prompted got it all horribly wrong at a roundabout. So tried again. And again. And again ::)

Fitted new front discs and pads to the Disco and changed the brake fluid.  Extortionately expensive for parts......

Twenty quid for front discs and pads about a tenner.   ;D

Chuffin cold out there today!!   :o   ;D
