General Car Chat / zafira b z22yh swirl flaps

I have the above car and "My Naff Code Reader" shows fault code of swirl flap stuck.
I can move the actuator bar by hand so I'm guessing the flaps move. There is a bit of resistance which I take to bethe actuator.
Any ideas?

Just brought an 06 2.2 zafira b
At idle it has a rattle from chain area.  Goes near enough when you Rev slightly.
Anyone with alot of Vauxhall experience?

Taken it to a general garage who seem to think it's normal.
