if i remember correctly ,there was  very little mechanical parts on it,it failed mot on corrosion,gearbox went to a great home behind a v8  :y

By Monday Aug 21st I had removed differential, handbrake and rear lights, all I wanted. I rang the scrappie, he called same day, but could not back in so went off to return with a smaller truck. Then omegatoy expressed a wish for a 2.2 manual box. so I put scrappie off until Tuesday 28th. omegatoy arrived Saturday with a mate in a NYPD Carlton, and whipped off the gearbox. On Tuesday I discovered the diff did not fit my 2.5, so I removed the front diff hanger  from the 2.2. Today scrappie called again and this time took Y118 away. I reckon it was a good organ donor.
