Its not secure 'cos its not secure! If that makes sense  :D Yeah it is quite nice. Its BMW Estoril Blue with BK Racing (ie knock off!) Alpina alloys and £5K worth (yes £5K!) of interior leather. I have got some more pics somewhere I'll try and see if I can dige them out. There arent many Monza's on the road and there sure as hell arent many like mine!

Had an advisory on the wifes '95 3.0L Elite saloon rear suspension self leveling link arm. Its the little arm that goes from one of trailing arms up to the load sensor for the self leveling rear suspension, about five or six inches long with a little plastic cup on each end. Its not the end of the world but I noticed that the back end was a little saggy with all the tools in the back after doing the rest of the work for the MOT!!!! Anybody got one? Thanks.

Just looked at WIM website, its a bit confusing to say the least. They've got dealers who will do the alignment all over the place, are these as good as the full blown WIM sites? There's one in Tonbridge just a few miles from me in Tunbridge Wells...

Got both struts off today to change the springs to cure what I thought was a broken spring (clonk clonk) to find the offside tyre is dangerously worn on its inner edge  :'( Lower arms I thought. Dropped the steering knuckle off both arms and gave them a bit of horsepower, both have play so its off to All German Parts for some Lemforders. Busted both ABS sensors as they wouldnt come out of their holes ("Apply some anti seizure paste when fitting the sensor" it says in the Haynes book. Yeah well, the previous owner obviously didnt!) And cant work out how to get the vertical nuts and bolts undone. Where is the bolt head, is it on top of the subframe or is there a hole in the subframe and the bolt head is recessed? I cant see diddly under the bonnet! Anybody got any pictures of the bolt heads whereabouts?

Chaps,

Not for an Omega but for my 7.5 tonner, got some cleaning up and painting to do on the ladder chassis. I was thinking along  the lines of kurust and underseal but is there anything a bit more robust that I can use? We want to keep the truck for a few years yet so would rather spend a few quid to do the job right!! Thanks for any advice.

Yes I realize that now, got a quote for all four springs and it was going to be more than I paid for the car seven years  ago :o Pattern parts it is then!

Hi there, I've got one busted front spring (boings on turning!) so need to replace both fronts and because I carry a lot of weight thought I'd do the rears as well. I guess it would be recommended to use genuine springs? Are they a Trade Club item? Any idea how much? Thanks.

PS Its for my 3.0L manual Elite estate (yes its got self levelling!)
