When did you last hear a news bulletin which mentioned leaving the EU without a deal signed first which didn't present it as "crashing out" or "going over a cliff edge" ?
None of them would recognise objectivity or neutrality if it kicked them up the balloon knot.  ::)

Reading between the line, it seems the outage which affected half the country on Friday may have been due to the experts thinking they could rely on wind power when they couldn't ?  If this was the case, I imagine it unlikely that they will ever admit it.  ::)

to be getting that MPG out of your Cl-Eeyore, you must be driving like a girly  Nicole  :D
you will feel the benefit when you drive the Omega  :)

Maybe the display has an electrical fault? Oh, wait! On a French car? No, can't be that, then. ;D

And to think I used to like this forum.  >:( :P

I was driving it reasonably gently as it happens. Due to the fact I have no service history at all for it. The cambelt could be 4 years and 17000 miles over due.  ;D

On the drive home from work this morning my recently acquired C**o claimed I averaged 63.7mpg. I strongly suspect the little froggy bastid is telling me porkies. I shall brim the tank soon and find out.  ::)

The only thing that's certain is that its going to get really nasty. The remainiacs will use every dirty trick in the book. Dominic Grieve more or less said so when being interviewed the other day from his home in Brittany (despite the long standing convention of MP,s not being critical of UK politics or politicians when they are outside the UK).
No wonder France gave him the legion d honneur.  ::)

We could backfill the Irish sea and join it to the mainland, just to piss off Lenny Verouka.  :y

Will try and post a couple of pics soonish when I get time. Rear arches are fine, although the paintwork around there and some other places needs a little attention. Still get quite a lot of positive comments about it from people though.
Gave a bloke a lift in it yesterday who is a lifelong car mechanic / trader/ racer, and he was raving about what a superb car it is, regardless of its age, or the 185k on the clock.
I really do like this car a lot. Its by far the best Omega Ive had, since spending the time / effort / money to get it pretty much how I want it.
I had planned on replacing it with a CL500 around now, but I cant bring myself to part with it tbh.  :)

why bother building boats
strategically placed land based missile silos would soon deter anyone smuggling ,fishing, people traffickers once a few boats had been blown up .

We all have moments of madness. I still hate all things French.  :P
Fuel consumption readout is currently reading 60.6mpg, but I shall be testing the accuracy of that in the near future.

I read recently that our contributions had increased significantly in the last year, and that sincw the referendum we had paid on approx. £29 billion.
