Pick up instrument light feed
« on: 26 March 2019, 21:03:16 »

My aftermarket head unit has a cable for its lights in buttons but I can't find any connection for that in the socket. I guess the original radio controlling that from some internal magick.

I would like to be able to dim those buttons as everything else on the dash.

Is there any place where I can pick a instrument lights feed for my radio?
Been looking at the diagrams but can't find anything there.

Thanks

Well I have an aftermarket loom that connects to the connector in the car. I did check for voltage on the available pins in the connector. There is a missmatch between pins in the loom and the connector but that can be fixed if needed.

I'll look for that Gray/Yellow cable and check it out.

Thanks
