 He gave me nearly £800 for it I'll have you know!  ;D

Considering I had 11months and 11,000 completely reliable miles out of it, mostly towing things, I would consider that not a bad return.

Black Mercedes are everywhere...just everywhere. There are four in our row of houses, out of nine houses. Not a blue or red one for miles......just black.

Down in sunny Hastings last week I saw Bentley's everywhere!! :o :o :o :o

Well, to be precise, four in a row travelling along with their drivers obviously posing!  One was a gorgeous convertible though, with an equally gorgeous bloke driving it! :-* :-* :-* ;D ;D ;D

Now, for me it has always been a Bentley that I have wanted, so forget all the Mercs, and especially the black ones that, as you say Steve, ARE everywhere! ::) ::) ::) ;)

Bentley is owned by VW.


You're thinking of the smaller Rolls Royce.

Well I liked the Bentley, more than the Rolls, very early in my childhood for some unexplained reason - my other 'wished for car' was the Austin (Baby) 7, that was so cute!! :-* :-* ;D ;D ;)

Phaeton is more of a cut-price Bentley.

I might come over and give you  a race in my Welsh diesel hatchback. Talking of which, I fitted my Kenwood DAB which I removed from the 190 into it today. Nice to have a wide choice of stations, and completely avoid the Beeb.
