Keep Astra for normal day to day, get an Omega Estate as dog car. It can be trashed and little care taken.

As an aside, does your dog show signs of anxiety when separated from you?  Our dog spends , through necessity , most of the time with me too.

Seriously though.......why does it have to be diesel?

Derv is significantly more expensive and there is the additional cost of pig piss.

Also, diesel cars cost more to repair and service and kill more polar bears and black babies in Africa.


I suppose they best suited to dull pragmatists  who are fixated with getting the best MPG at exactly 56 MPH. :)

I think that Merc is a bit racy for Uncle STEMO!  :-\  :P  :D

I suspect that something like this would be more like what he has in mind, given the need for room for dog crates, lady's luggage etc  :y

Petrol too! Should keep Lord Opti quiet!  :)
